FLIGHT OF ICARUS

The Flight of Icarus is a project exploring air through the lens of flight, stemming from both a natural and mechanical precedent. The natural and mechanical precedents are analyzed and broken down to their essence. This discovery is carried throughout the project as the basis of an iterative prototyping process. Exploring material limitation and the successes of each prototype, a final model is designed and tested.
